Sleep Inn Clearwater-St Petersburg

We stayed for one day before catching a plane back home. The hotel is great, well mmaintained, big room, comfortable beds and wonderful staff. The shuttle to the airport at 4:30 am was really appreciated. The big surprise is that the owner organized a barbecue because it was the superbowl night. It was a great way to close our vacation. Would definitely come back!

Great place. PROS: Reagan and Pam were great at the front desk. Dalia in Housekeeping was always very kind and helpful. Her consistant smile made the place feel warm and welcoming. She even cleaned the headboards! Rooms were great and super clean. The sheets were clean. Beds and pillows were very comfortable and bug free! No issues at all with pests! Floors and decor were beautiful and modern. Beds were neat and crisp. Towels and shower and bathroom were clean. Overall, I enjoyed my extended stay here and would definitely come back. CONS: The only downfalls were the Wifi and smell from curtains and AC unit were not pleasant. Hotel WiFi is only 10 Mbps Download and 10 Mbps Upload.

For starters the ladies at the front desk were AMAZING! My stay was from 1/2-1/4 and I have absolutely no complaints. The ladies were very helpful when I needed silverware, ice, and just general questions. Secondly, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING. I’ve never been to any hotel that had a variety of different breakfast and IT’S FREE! The room was so nice and it was very quiet. The jacuzzi felt amazing. I stayed in for 4 hours my first night. The prices for the stay were a lot cheaper than I thought. I booked another night while I was staying there just because I was so comfortable and didn’t want to leave. I’ll definitely be coming back!

Great location, nice atmosphere, clean rooms every time. The price makes it easy to stay at a nice hotel without feeling like you’ve paid too much. The people here are terrific, always ready to help. They will get you to the airport or help you out if you forget your razor ( I did). Surprisingly quiet for the proximity to the airport. They have all the amenities that I expect from the best Choice Hotels in the country. I’ve stayed here several times and I hope to stay several more.

I think the people working at this hotel were doing their best, but they were overworked and understaffed for how busy the hotel was during my stay. This is a management issue. The room was clean when I arrived, but they are so short-staffed that I never had my room cleaned again during a 4-night stay, even when I left the premises after breakfast. When I spoke with the front desk, they explained that the rooms being checked out were their first priority and they may not have time to get to mine. They had a pitcher of water in the lobby that was flavored with fruit. That is nice, but water bottles from Aldi are not that expensive and are the norm for most hotels these days.
