Super 8 by Wyndham Claremore OK

This was my second stay here. The other being just two weeks previously. My first stay was pretty good and I had no qualms booking here again. This stay was not so amazing. I ended up in a room facing the road and the noise kept me from sleeping well. I live in a very rural area and am used to it be super quiet...for a lot of people this road noise probably won't be an issue. Upon getting to the room there were no full sized towels in the bathroom. There were only the face towels and washcloths at the sink counter. The shower curtain had suspicious darker spots on it that led me to believe that it had not actually been changed and washed between occupants. There was also gravel and construction dirt behind the door where maybe someone put their boots after work....that hadn't been

Everything about this hotel was fantastic. My #1 thing is cleanliness and this place was VERY clean. The hotel staff was so accommodating. We ended up having a small Christmas celebration here and they were so kind. We didn’t partake in the breakfast because we slept in. I did not expect such a positive experience at a Super 8, but it was really a great stay!

The room was spotlessly clean, the bed and pillows were comfortable and the employees were very friendly. Very reasonably priced. Dollar store and gas right across the street. We would definitely stay there again. My husband was wishing for eggs and bacon for breakfast but they had waffles! Room just needed new sheets and the carpet had a couple small holes but we didn’t pay for a Hilton so I didn’t expect one.

Positive: The Lobby condition and cleanness Negative: My first 4 days trash was not picked up, and towels were not changed, I needed to remind them.. Staff could be more customer friendly, not normally the personally you find in a hotel. Afterwards, service improved! 2nd floor always had things laying around

DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AT THE HAMPTON!!!! I was woken up at 12:30 a.m. to be told they double booked my room and I had to leave right then. When I asked if they had another room available they wanted $90 dollars more than the original price. I’m pretty sure they had the other guests stay in our room after we had already been on the beds. Only when I was leaving did they offer me a room at the same rate at a lower end hotel and after seeing the room here didn’t want to try.
