Super 8 by Wyndham Carthage

We specifically booked this motel because of the hot tub. Except when we got there they told us "there is no hot tub". There is- they have decided they don't want anyone to use it. The rooms look nothing like their pictures. Super disappointed. Would not stay here again.

I have stayed at multiple Super 8 hotels in my travels. When I stay at a Super 8, I expect a clean room, a comfortable bed, a decent breakfast, and a safe parking lot. This hotel had a safe parking lot. The thresholds were screwed to the floor, the room was disgusting, the mattress needed to be replaced years ago, and the breakfast was terrible. Breakfast consisted of hard-boiled eggs, some Wal-Mart yogurt, and an Eggo waffle but no toaster.

The pros for this hotel were clean bedding and entrance. One complaint of this particular Super 8 was that we had to stay an extra night due to a car repair. In the evening we asked at the front desk if the rate would be the same for another night. He said because it was a Saturday it would $10. more. The following day when we checked out we were charged $22. |Breakfast was minimal. Bagels, and hard boiled eggs that didn't look particularly fresh.

Easy check in &check out, there are some stains on the bed sheet and pillows.

Very friendly lady at counter that got us a very nice, very clean room at a great price. Didn't hear any noise coming through walls. Nice complimentary breakfast. If ever back in that area , we will definitely stay there again.
