Days Inn by Wyndham Carthage

My husband, myself and our dog stayed here 2 nights, as we were celebrating Thanksgiving weekend with my family, who were scattered nearby. We were only here long enough to sleep, get around and go but I can tell you this- the bed was super comfortable, the bedding clean & fresh and the pillows were amazing! I never slept so good in a hotel before!! The room was clean and we had everything we needed except for one thing...a coffee pot. There was a microwave and fridge but no one-cup coffeemaker, which I thought was strange. It wasn't a problem though because there was plenty of coffee down the hall. Didn't have breakfast there so cant speak on that. We were welcomed at check-in by a very nice, informative and accommodating lady who went out of her way to warmly welcome even our dog! So yes

One of the nicest Days Inn I've ever stayed. Beautifully remodeled rooms and bathroom. No old furniture or dirty carpet. The AC worked great and the bed was very comfortable. I recommend a room on the second floor as the first floor rooms open to the outside. Also avoid facing the Arbys or you will hear their drive thru.

Positive: It was reasonably close to the church where we were having a Women?s Retreat and reasonably priced. Negative: No elevator to the second floor

Some rooms are nicer than others. The average is 3 stars. They are clean. The several times we stayed for nearby family, our rooms were updated with comfortable beds. Our requests were honored. We travel with service animals with no issues. We are picky for breakfast so continental does not appeal but otherwise the breakfast area is clean and kept up. The property is secure and location is perfect for coffee fuel fast-food and back on the highway.

The room and pool were nice and clean. It was easy to find. I love the double entrances to the room. Convenient to unload and load our vehicle. The breakfast could use more. It was very limited on choices.
