Boots Court Motel

This place is great! The check in at the visitor center back in December was easy and pleasant. The room was very clean with good temperature control. The only downside is the low down shower head but I made it work. Great location and very well kept historic Route 66 motel.

This 1939 GEM is located alone the Route 66 Historic route. We booked one night on our journey down the Historic by-way and we were not disappointed. From the time we turned the key in the lock we were transferred into a different time. The room greeted you with an old victrola playing hits from the 50's & 60's. Along with furnishings from the art deco period. The beauty was in the details. The old radio, the period headboards, bedding and lighting, the wooden floors, the period tiled bathroom. Then the little things that make the stay a little more special; the greeting basket with candy bars, the wonderful smelling soap and shower products, the nightlight, lovely fluffy, BIG, towels and the old alarm clock. Finally got to stay at this iconic Route 66 motel! It's been on my bucket list for probably 15 years. We stayed in the 1939 section and were able to park our Avalon in the garage, only by shimmying back and forth. The queen bed was so cozy, the bathroom soap luxurious and the absence of a TV just what my tired eyes and mind needed.

Katie and Kari are awesome. I was passing by and stopped to see the property. They gave fun and informative tour. The rooms here are immaculate and it’s amazing how they preserved history and FROZEN time to a bygone era.

Had a great time! What an absolutely cool historic place to stay on route 66. Many restaurants and antique stores nearby. Our host was very helpful even with our late check in. Highly recommend and look forward to returning!
