Super 8 by Wyndham Bremerton

This is the first night of our two night staying at the hotel. The first thing I noticed when we came in were the floors looked pretty clean all in all. Unfortunately, the walls have what looks like visible splatters of food on it ….gross. Also, I brought my own soap to wash the tub before me and my children bathed in it. That was a good idea because when I was washing the tub, I noticed some hair from the last occupant gross. I also noticed in the bathtub that there was brown mold around the lining of the tub. you’ll notice it as you sit in the tub. They need to scrub that with a magic eraser and do a deep clean. Positive: The air conditioning in the room worked, which was a surprise since the hotel seemed so outdated. Negative: The sink was in such terrible shape that it appeared very dirty. When I tried wiping out the sink, I realized it was just rusty and knicked to the point of looking filthy. The mattress was thin and uncomfortable. The bathroom floor was awful.

My husband and I ended up here after another hotel sold our completely paid for room out from under us (thank you, Baymont). This was not our first choice, but it was what was available. This room cost us the same amount as the other nicer hotel since it was short notice. The staff were nice enough and that is the one nice thing I have to say. |It was NOT nice, in any way. |All lamp shades were broken. |Cigarette burn hole in bedspread. |Some sort of adhesive or something was on the sink. It didn't wipe off, but definitely needed scraped off. |No stopper to sink or tub drain. |What I assume is red paint was on both sides of toilet (it also didn't just wipe away). |The water dial for shower had been replaced with another type of dial so rather than turning the while thing clockwise

I road tripped from the east coast to west and stayed at super 8’s along the way. This is the worst of them. The building is super old and needs a lot of work to get it back up to mediocre ratings. The room I stayed at was pet friendly, so I was expecting some form of pet smell, but it was pretty strong in the room. The floors felt like they weren’t cleaned, so I wore my flip flops. The hot water is very good and you can get it as hot as you want if you like. There is AC in the room and works well, just a bit old. The bed was comfortable, but there was only a sheet, a thin fleece blanket, and top cover. Other Super 8’s had comforters at least. Got a little chilly at night, but stuck it out. Upon arriving, the first impression was that the place is not clean. There were ants all over the from desk when signing in for our room keys. Within the rooms it wasn't better. There was hair on the shower wall (above the laminate), the clear plastic knob for the shower was black within it from mold, there was hard water stains and general grodeyness in the sink, and black and pink smudges on the wall by the bed. The ants were still present in the room itself, and we seemed to have brought them home. We did not have ants when we left, but a day after our bags were unpacked they started showing up in random places around our home. There were 3 pillows in the room, and when we called for more pillows the response was basically "I mean we're a super 8 but I'll see what I can do" and we were
