Hampton Inn & Suites Bremerton

Rooms were great and the view of the marina was great. Odd number rooms can be noisy on windy nights. There’s a flag pole at the marina that has a weight hanging off of the flag that bangs against the pole constantly. I’m surprised no one has complained before. Even number rooms have a great view of the ferry/ navy boats pulling in/ out. Parking is not free. Nice walking trail on marina. Staff mentioned that pool is being removed so if that’s what you’re looking forward to look elsewhere. Staff was a bit moody at times. One staff member let me know about breakfast sandwiches and when I would ask other staff member for breakfast sandwiches they seemed to think I was taking food off their plate. I travel for work and stay in hampton hotels frequently. Generally I don't write reviews but in this case I am so irritated with this hotel that i had to. I have stayed here for about 3 weeks now and since arrival the fire alarm has gone off twice for a period of 20 minutes or so each time, I didn't have hot water for almost a week, There is no hot breakfast and what they do have for breakfast is a joke, the room service can't ever seem to fully service my room once they didn't take out the overflowing trash, once they took my towels but didn't leave any new ones, they forget to restock the coffee. This is by far one of the worst hotels ive stayed in recently. I would recommend the Fairfield down the road instead which is abnormal since i usually avoid them.

We booked through Expedia (this was our biggest mistake). Our room was next to someone who had two dogs that barked all night long. We called the front desk about it on 5 separate occasions. Finally, at around 2am they moved us to a different room. That room had a broken toilet. I had an important speaking engagement the next day and was only able to sleep a couple hours. This whole situation was terrible and the gal at the front desk in the morning basically blew us off. I sought a refund of one of our rooms afterwards and was denied. This was a terrible experience with the staff, the hotel, and the follow up.

Positive: Convenience to the ferry. Negative: Daily charge for guest parking. Huge turn off! I wish guests were notified at time of booking that the hotel was updating. No hot breakfast no gym facilities. Our final bill should reflect inconvenience cost.

This place is a poorly run dump. It is undergoing heavy renovations (so maybe some day it will be better? But I doubt it), which, gallingly, the hotel did NOT tell us at the time of booking. They advertised a hot breakfast, but it was a lie, unless you count the gross frozen microwave burritos that you could heat up in a tiny dorm room microwave. Fitness center also unavailable. A friend had holes in the walls in her room. The hallways, lobby and elevator all reeked of cigarette smoke. The walls were paper thin, I had to blast white noise on my phone to sleep. The bed was creaky. The elevators were horribly slow. And so on. It's a shame bc it's a great location. Bremerton desperately needs a decent hotel.
