Sunterra Campground

At first glance Sunterra campground looks a bit like a dodgy car park. The amenities have scribbled descriptions on the doors and you can see pipelines running along the road for the water hookups. However if you drive further up the driveway you'll find some really nice tree lined campsites that don't so much look like they're just carparks, with lovely views overlooking the lake. The office is not usually manned, but they answer the phone quickly and we were able to change our site from one of the bottom carparks to one of the nicer ones up the top. The showers and washrooms are only average at best, luckily we had our own in our RV anyway, but there is a washer and dryer for use, and it seemed to be free. Upon arrival I wasn't sure what to think but soon realized the spots are quaint. If you're looking for a fancy camping experience, this is not for you. It's simple but there is some privacy and the crickets were so lovely, sang me to sleep. Full hookup is wonderful. Thanks to the host at Sunterra... During our stay he was so gracious about us arriving after 10 one night, and pulling out a bit late on Sunday due to an issue we had. Granted the campground was pretty empty, but I did appreciate it very much. All in all, a great weekend. Thanks!

The caretaker, i think his name is Shae, really helped me settle in and made me feel welcome. Had a great stay. Beach right across the street. Facilities a bit dated, but everything was there. Washrooms kept clean. Thankyou.

We had a lovely stay at Sunterra. Our site was up at the top of a very steep hill. Definitely make sure you have chocks and levelling blocks. We had a pretty view of the lake through the trees. The sites were lined with cedar trees which provided a nice sound barrier between. In the evening the crickets sounded lovely. A quick walk down the hill to the lake for a swim. Unfortunate that the pool isn’t open but the lake lake is great so we didn’t really miss it. We didn’t use the washrooms so I can’t speak to that. The campground manager Paula was such a great lady. We would absolutely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Suntarra Campground in Osoyoos. The location is perfect, close to the lake with beautiful views. The facilities were very clean and well kept, and the staff were welcoming and helpful. It’s a peaceful and family-friendly place, great for relaxing and enjoying nature. We truly enjoyed our time here and will definitely come back again.
