Sunset Shores Resort

This was such a great place to stay. We stayed at the chalet. It was clean, quiet, and had everything we needed. The area was beautiful and near the lake. There was a little deck and it was so great to drink coffee on it in the morning and listen to the birds. The chalet itself was great for us, but the upstairs is a loft accessible by a large ladder and wouldn’t have been appropriate for small children or people who can’t climb a ladder.

I was extremely impressed with these well-kept cottages! Someone has put a great deal of thought into equipping the cottages with quality furnishing and everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. Everything was so organized and efficient. The property itself is beautiful, on the shores of Kangaroo Lake. Best of all it is quiet and removed from the bustle of many of the popular spots in Door County, yet an easy drive to wherever you would like to go.

Very nice cabin. We had room for six comfortably. Amenities are nice. Kayaks, canoe, row boat. Nice lake and a very nice common area with outdoor games and a fire pit. Enjoyed our stay.

Very nice place to stay. However our trolling motor was used after we came back from our morning fishing trip without permission which lead to a part falling off and lost which prevented us from fishing again that afternoon and our last day there. We will go back for sure but we now know we need to remove all of our fishing gear after each trip out on the water.

Loved our old cabin. Right on the lake. Nice fireplace. I had a medical emergency, and couldn't come. When my family arrived to be missing essentials they were there within half an hour to remedy the problems. My family really enjoyed their stay, so sad I was unable to go.
