Cedar Beach Inn

I stayed here June 2025 with family. The Positives: - The house accommodated our large group very well, we had 17 adults and there was bed space for everyone. With extra space available on couches as well. The house also has a small supply of extra cushions which would be good for children. - The house has a beautiful view of the water, with multiple decks and porches, including a very nice enclosed porch, that face the lake. - Getting down to the water requires climbing down a steep ledge of large rocks, but there were multiple spots where this was quite easy. Would not recommend this, though, with small children or older adults. - The living areas also have many interesting and beautiful antiques. - Right next door to a gas station. This was convenient for any forgotten items, and for us

The house was very interesting. Plenty of room for my entire family. Unique items around every corner. Beautiful vintage and antique furniture. Fully equipped kitchen. The yard was perfect for outdoor games and grilling. Beautful setting. The house could have been cleaner and I didn't appreciate having a list of chores including changing the sheets for the next guests. Not sure, within the last year, if all rentals are now like that? I've never stayed at one that had a 'to do' list. The ones I've stayed at have a cleaning service come in. But, the important thing was being together as a family. Would I stay again? Now that I know what to expect, I think so.

Nice views, not worth the price! Mold growing on ceilings, leaking water faucets, questionable cleanliness. Charged for clean up even after paying the extra for clean linens and property that wasn't. The culture of the area and history of the house was interesting but I'd rather spend thousands at a 5 star resort.

Loved this home. It was in a great location. The little gas station/convenience store was a bonus. We had 17 people in the home. The sunroom helped accommodate this many people. The back yard and view is wonderful. The kitchen is well stocked. There was even extra paper towels and toilet paper. All bathrooms had shampoo and conditioner. Would totally recommend this house to others. My only recommendations would be is to make the wi fi secure. No one had to enter a password to use the wi fi. We had people with us over 80 years old with mobility issues so TV upstairs was not really an option. The TV downstairs only had roku which only worked early morning and late evening. I believe the gas station and its patrons are enjoying free wi fi at your guests expense. I would also put screens in t

Beautiful views, spacious, modern accommodations with all the little details and extras. Room after room of eclectic antiques and fascinating furnishings and curio pieces. An absolutely delightful place to stay, in the center of everything.
