Sunset Point

We have been RVing for 13 years and this is one of the best resorts we have been to. Resort was really clean. Camp hosts were super friendly, came by to invite us to a social which was fun and gave us an opportunity to meet others. They even came back the morning we were leaving to say bye and to see if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this resort.

The RV park is clean but that doesn't change the nastiness of the workampers attitude. Do not stay here if you have children. They targeted my family because we weren't retirement age and long termers. It's apparent how they favor easy money for long term guests. They can't stand weekenders. A man banged (not knocked) on my RV door, failed to identify himself and yelled at me in front of my kids that they couldn't ride their EVs in the park. Scared me and my children. My husband was loading the boat and saw the aggressiveness and as soon as he walked up the man ran off. Ironically enough his wife was in the office babysitting two grandchildren. Poor kids were made to sit with tablets and headphones as to not bother their grandparents. Horrible people manage this RV park. The boat ramp dock

Beautiful resort, family friendly, hosts are very helpful, and best of all, it's located on the shores of Lake LBJ. So boating, fishing and swimming at the back door. Love this resort!

Don’t bother calling if you have a very expensive “class B” motorhome. My new Airstream was rejected staying the night even though it’s class and quality exceeds some of the other guests. Reply to owner: We would have been happy to be able to spend several nights there. We’ve never been rejected anywhere. I even asked, “are you sure?” Answer: “we don’t take ‘vans’”. The Airstream “vans” are extremely well appointed.

Good afternoon! I want to let everyone know about my experience with this RV park so you don’t make the same mistake we did! I have a conference for work coming up and we decided to take the RV to make a weekend out of it. Then the conference is moved to a one day event and we decided not to take everything up. We contacted them as it says to with the conference still more than 3 weeks away. We understood that there would be a 20% cancellation fee, however they told us that they wouldn’t be returning ANY of the money. If you need to go to this area, go ANYWHERE ELSE, I know there are many conferences and adventurers looking to go to this area. Life happens, and this RV park sadly will not honor their own policies. A hotel or any other park will let you cancel, some with a full refund as lo
