Camp Hickory Creek

So this place was so charming. We stayed in the middle barn like cabin, the loft we're not much into stairs, but it was so cute and so quaint. We will definitely be back and we would definitely recommend this to family and friends. You can't go wrong with this choice for rental. This also would be a great place to do a family get together or party because there are multiple rentals. There was an RV to the back of us totaling for rentals all together. . Playscapes, big barbecue pit and hot tubs accommodating each rental. This would be great for a multiple family get together. Very spacious the deer were awesome. They even have access to a home owners park further on down the road about 2 miles. It is gated but access to the to the lake or river. Very nice very nice highly recommend i

Camp Hickory Creek~ facilitated an incredibly beautiful and serene experience for the entire duration of my stay there. The interior design of the space had an upscale Texas feel that made everyone feel at home, comfortable and impressed. The landscaping was absolutely stunning and welcomed exploration. I created memories at camp Hickory Creek that I will absolutely never forget as I will cherish them for the rest of my life. I got to get to know Sanaz (the owner of Camp Hickory) and her beautiful cherub of a sun Jackson, during my stay for the total solar eclipse. And will say with confidence that any revenue going towards Camp Hickory is supporting an absolutely incredible woman who has executed an exquisite vision to share with you on her land. -Victoria

Our group had an absolutely wonderful time at Camp Hickory Creek - starting with the drive to our destination that was just so picturesque and idyllic! I highly recommend coming out during wildflower season, if you can! The lodging and accommodations are so serene –comfortable, tasteful, and creative. If you're a fan of Wes Anderson movies (especially Moonrise Kingdom!) you'll feel like you stepped into a vintage dream, for sure. The interior design is so cute and playful – and there's plenty of room to sleep a big group of family and friends like ours. Super comfy beds, lots of thoughtful details, nice spots to lounge and hang out, and the HOT TUB! Such a perfect set up for soaking and relaxing. Beautiful natural setting with butterflies everywhere! I can't wait. to come back for another

Beautiful property and an even more amazing host! This land was such a dreamy Texas getaway…from enchanting hot tub soaks under the oak tree at night to laying in a picturesque field of blue bonnets beneath a big open sky. We fired up the grill for lunch for a family style cookout on the big back porch and swam at the creek in the surrounding area. Sanaz was so generous and accommodating she made us feel right at home. She has really created a space where nature meets comfort, laying the ground work for a magical experience!

We spent our 1 year wedding anniversary basking in the beauty and magic of this very special land. The cabins are decorated so dang cute, we felt like we were starring in a Wes Anderson movie! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals with friends, and the hardest choice we had to make all weekend was whether to soak in the hot tub at night or sit around the campfire (and then we remembered that we could choose BOTH). Camp Hickory was just the reset we needed. It served equal parts romantic getaway AND a place to gather and celebrate with our friends. We're so grateful for the experience and can't wait to go back!
