Sunset Motel

This place really saved my hide! My car broke down at night on the Interstate. They graciously allowed me to tow my car there for the evening. I was so tired, I could have slept in any room but the room was exceptionally nice and clean. Very comfortable bed. The gentleman at the front desk was very polite and accommodating. Would 100% stay again.

A plumbing issue from within the building causes high-pitched squealing every half hour all night long, impossible to sleep through. Recorded on my phone multiple times through the night and presented to manager at front desk who claimed they werent responsible for "incidental" noises coming from outside. When I showed video proving it was from plumbing stack, they got rude and threatening. We paid $240 and this was a complete ripoff, we had to drive all day the next day on 3-4 hours of sleep, creating a dangerous situation for my family. I would upload it but they dont do video

On arrival, the desk clerk was unfriendly, didn't give a greeting, and just wanted my license and credit card. card. Once we checked in, the clerk told us where the room was, and we walked down to see where we could park. Once we entered the room, I got a call from my daughter saying her daughter (our granddaughter) had been in an auto accident and was in a hospital. We went back to the front desk and told the clerk that we had an emergency and would need to leave. He simply shoved the bill back to me and said, "No refund". Since we had checked in for a full 5 minutes, I supposed that was the policy. I don't expect a refund, but a little sympathy would have helped. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

I think this is the nicest motel I've ever stayed. Admit it you here motel you have a picture in your mind and know what your getting. This was a pleasant surprise. Well cared for and maintained rooms. Better towels furniture and coffeemaker than any motel we've been. Small but we don't need more. No weird smells or stains. Furniture and bed are nice and we slept well. Our room was closer to the road but sounds muffled well considering. We will stay here again when in town. Decent price. Hint: there is a closet with iron and ironing board hidden behind the full length mirror in our room (121).

The room was spacious and comfortable. They were clean and well-maintained. I had a very good night's rest.
