Westcliff Lodge

For the price you can't beat the rooms. The place is rustic and older, but very clean. We received a large suite with huge windows and a beautiful view of the Columbia river, and a fully loaded kitchenette. The outside garden is lush and green and set up to sit outside to enjoy the river view. We visited in early March where it's cold and raining, but if you visited during late spring and summer then it's wonderful to sit outside. Definitely would come back again.

This place was everything I was hoping for - great views, quiet rooms, clean and comfortable. I had one of the kitchenette rooms and could have stayed for a month. I appreciated that they don't seem to use strong-smelling cleaning products, too - the room smelled clean and fresh, but not perfumey. The wifi was working while I was there, though it did waver a bit.

We got a balcony room and even though the river area was really foggy, it was still a gorgeous view. Best bang for your buck in this area in my opinion. There are plenty of other places to stay while in Hood River but this one was the perfect balance of budget friendly and gorgeous views.

This place felt like a hidden treasure. You can feel the age in the best way. The rooms are very clean and modern but still retain a classic vide than is difficult to create. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and housekeeping does a stellar job. Good prices and spacious rooms. Best overall lodging I have experienced in Hood River.
