Sunrise Resort & Campground

Todd and Mona are excellent hosts and run a wonderful resort! Cabins are perfect and ready to enjoy as soon as you pull in! The grounds are very well kept, the fish cleaning house is perfectly set up, docks are in immaculate condition. There's even a welcoming cookie bag on the table! We stayed in June and brought a friend back up in August and made reservations for next June to come up with other friends.

This place was recommended by friends and they were spot-on! The price was great, it was a very nice, large cabin, and the hosts are incredibly nice and so helpful!! We'd recommend booking there, especially in the summer! They even opened their basement to us when bad weather moved in.

Relatives had a sesonal spot their. Went to visit. Todd stopped us and told us we couldn't because my daughter had a bill their. I knew nothing about it until he told us. Not my business. Mind you she is 44 yrs old and married. WHY is that on me? Found out the reason my daughter didn't pay him. . He broke her window on camper and would not give her a electric bill statement. All have their own meters. Should not be a problem. Another relative moved out because Todd thinks he can say who can and cannot come visit. Worse owners ever.

The cabins are in excellent condition and in a great location in the chain. The owners are attentive, accommodating, and provide great service while also just being great people to talk to. After 30+ years of staying at another resort, this was our family’s first year at Sunrise and we are all looking forward to many more!!

Wish I could give zero stars. The owners are nothing but rude and money greedy. That me saying it nicely as possible. Last experience was telling them the bathroom toilet was broke along with many other things messed up. She responded back where my money. She banged the door in the morning to tell me how many are in our cabin. Which did not change since the year before. She said how old are the babies? And I responded 2 and 3. She says she charge after 2. For water and sewage. My kids are in diapers and they all showered together in a tiny shower. And all three little kids loved laying together. You have to clean before you leave or you are charge a cleaning fee even if you leave anything behind or a crumb on the floor. Lastly you should not change your prices and expect more money when yo
