Sundowner Inn Forsyth

What a nice quiet gem. Staff was on point and friendly, grocery store pretty close. Room was very clean,tho not ultra modern. I would definitely stay here again. I stay in motels 5 nights a week through work,and have to stay in cheaper motels. This one is a pleasant surprise for the price.

I was traveling through with my family for the Rosebud Fair. We have stayed at the Sundowner Inn many times over the past 4 years and normally our stay has always been wonderful. This time we had sadly learned that the Wilson’s were no longer the owners and to be honest it definitely shows the hotel has gone to the dumps. The new lady in charge or owner was very rude, smelled of sour alcohol and very unpleasant . Our room smelled of old fermented fruit, the bed was not made, mini fridge had old food in it and the bathroom didn’t look like it was properly cleaned. The office lady Brandy was very rude when we asked for it to be fixed or a different room. She appeared to be very buzzed or intoxicated and rudely agreed to change our room. This was a great stay rooms were very nice and just what we needed. I left my glasses there and after I had called them they mailed them back to me at no charge so above and beyond and very much appreciated !!

Someone had defecated in my toilet before I got to it, they left it there. And I don't think they understand the implications of what 'sundown' means to some people. I did not feel safe here and was happy to leave.

I stayed one night at this lovely motel and was very pleased. It was clean as a whistle and the lady who checked me in was very warm and welcoming and helpful. I was able to back right up to the door to my room and unload my luggage. It was quiet during the night. They serve a continental breakfast starting at 7 and I was on the road by that time so did not participate, but there was plenty of coffee in the room to get me started for the day. I would stay there again with no hesitation.
