Sun Tower Hotel & Suites

The hotel has a very disrespectful attitude towards smokers, which you will only find out upon arrival! It doesn't say anywhere that you can't smoke on the balcony or on the territory at all, you have to leave the hotel for the parking lot and standing between cars apparently "enjoy spending time in the hotel." When a hotel sells its rooms, they "tactfully keep silent" about their prohibitions, and then they put you in front of the fact. It's not fair!

What a spot! Right on the ocean and nice and quiet:) was surprised and really pleased our room was ready when we got there before check in time. We like to walk, so within 20 minutes either way we found some good restaurants that had great drinks, food, and service. We took the water taxi to the south end one night…a 20 minute walk from the hotel. Beds comfortable and wi-fi good. Pool nice and quiet as well. They have a resort fee so I’d expect better service. The restaurant had very nice but inexperienced college kids as servers.. which meant forgotten items. The bartender was inexperienced and couldn’t make some simple drinks. Upon check-in restaurant hours weren’t shared nor was info given on how to work the direct TV’s in room. No info on pool hours given . No beach chair drink or

Don’t waste your money. We booked an OceanView Suite months ago for one night. Asked about early check in when I booked and was told they couldn’t guarantee anything so that was fair. Arrived early and was told they do not allow early check in. Waited five hours in the hot sun for a room. During this entire time they had internet problems so there was no access to wifi. Finally got our room just before 3 pm. Second floor directly over the restaurant. Cannot use the balcony that we paid for since it is literally over the tables of people eating food. Asked for a different room and was told nothing was available. Advised they would waive the resort fee. Paid $450 US for this. Totally disappointed.

I found this gem in Fort Laudardale and I came for my birthday it was such a memorable experience. The weekend I spent here I was planning to go out but instead I stayed the entire weekend and never left. Jordan and Christine made the experience. The room 101 is absolutely beautiful I loved it! Don’t forget to go to Sandbar Grill. Danny at the bar, Dylan, Luis, Bianca & more! Everyone is great, you won’t regret coming here!

This place is truly a hidden gem. If you love having beach access so close to the room, this is the place for you. Amazing ocean views and the food at the Sandbar grill is delicious. Although the deck to the beach was under construction, our ground floor balcony, ocean views, delicious food, and the friendliest of staff made up for it. Highly, highly recommend.
