I had such a great time at Sun Outdoors! The whole resort has a fun, inviting atmosphere, and everything from the clean facilities to the well-designed amenities made the trip incredibly enjoyable. The staff was friendly and upbeat, always ready to help or offer recommendations. Whether I was relaxing by the pool, exploring the property, or just taking in the peaceful surroundings, every moment felt refreshing and memorable. I’d definitely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a truly enjoyable getaway.

We had such a great time! Highly recommended. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I love how close it is to the beach--You can beat that view! My family and I will definitely be back. The campground was nicely laid out and super clean. We stayed in one of the cabins. I love that they thought of putting in a doggy wash station, great idea! Highly recommended.

This place has really changed over the last 4 years. The Sun Outdoors takeover really damaged this park. The staff is great - the best thing about the park, but there are just a few and they can’t do everything. To consider this park a “resort” and charge a $15 resort fee is ridiculous. There’s no grass anymore, all the sites are uneven with holes, the bathrooms get attention once a day, the pictures, videos and advertisements are outdated and/or not the Coos Bay property. For example, there’s no sports court. It’s an area with a portable, leaning small net and nothing else. Every site has a few dogs which is great, however there’s no patrolling so dogs get left in trailers to bark all day or they’re in the sites unleashed so they bark and run out when another dog walks by. All this and th

What an amazing staff team! They're very attenative. This is an extremely clean campsite. The cabins are a delight! We decided to split from our RV group in order to stretch our legs a bit more and the cabins were amazing. The location is great. The staff have been great at every point. The live entertainment nights are absolutely fun and hilarious. The staff even provided good drinks and food for us!

The location and amenities were great, we had a mostly great trip but half way through our trip they started removing limbs from the trees behind our campsite. Our kids were having a blast playing with sticks and climbing trees when the manager said the kids can’t play in the woods because they are trying to get ferns to grow in there. While I totally understand restoration this killed the trip for us. Not being able to play in the forest was a huge bummer. Kids playing swords with sticks is what camping is about! Getting out getting dirty and having fun. We have stayed at beach bound campground up the road I think we’ll stick to booking there in the future.
