The location was amazing! Ocean front. Nothing obstructing the view. The bar staff was amazing. Our room.....there were signs hanging up with notices all over the hotel. About the "strang odor lingering in the air". They had just had an exterminator come in and spray the entire hotel. As they had cockroaches. Which we later seen in our bathroom. We asked for extra bath towels, we never received them. There was a $150 "damage deposit" placed on our credit card. That would be returned if there were no damages. It has been over 2 months now. That has not been returned. When I call and question it, I am told that it will take 7-10 business days. Our stay was from Aug 4-6. I am not a math genius, but even I know that has been well past 7-10 days. My persistent calling must have annoyed someone,

Last night of our honeymoon road trip.. husband booked this place on a budget (without reading reviews) since he wanted beach front. Even in terms of budget motels this was bad.. The front desk advertised "cheap beer sold here" may have been my first clue. Lobby was crowded even late at night, clientele was very drunk and low class, flirting with hotel security as we walked in. Determined to have a good honeymoon, since it was past midnight just figured we'd go to sleep and it'd be fine at the beach tomorrow. Room was filthy, smelly, stains in the sheets. Mattress felt ancient, pillows were so lumpy. I changed into my pajamas while husband went back to garage to place the parking pass. He came back to find my examining all the stains in the bed. Thankfully he could tell how creeped out I

Positive: It’s location and the parking garage connected to the hotel Negative: The elevator to the parking garage went down the day we needed to check out. The room had a humidifier for some reason that stopped working shortly after. Much of the furniture in the room was old and damaged.

Jackie the manager, if youre listening, you are horrible as manager. To walk away from a guest mid conversation because you felt like you got your point across and was done with the conversation instead of making things better for a guest that just traveled many many hours away that wanted to check in a little early without the hotel trying to make an extra $200 off this rundown place was horrible. I told you I would write a bad review and you could care less. We just wanted some comfortability after a long trip and you offered nothing other than to go outside. You already had my money, you would think you'd try a little harder to make your guest feel more welcoming instead of showing your back to them mid conversation. A room thats ready and already paid for shouldnt just be sitting empty

We checked in around 11pm after being stranded in Myrtle due to car troubles. It was the closest hotel with vacancy so we booked there. I wish I would have been in a better position to be able to read reviews and travel a little further however the weather was terrible and I had small children with me. When I got there the two employees at the front desk were polite, not overly friendly but nice enough. I did find the $150 deposit to be outrageous then on top of that $11 to park. Upon first glance the room looked clean then in the middle of the night we found a roach. At this time I also discovered that the soap dispenser in the shower was broken. Again, it was the middle of the night so I didn't go down to the front desk. The next morning I checked out, the gentleman was not friendly. I
