Sun Lakes Park Resort

We had a great time, renting the golf cart was a great choice. If you want boat morage you rent it through the Dry Falls State park, even though its at the Sun Lakes Resort Boat Launch

Trailer parking has good shade in certain spots. Grounds keeping does their best to keep the grass green while being as busy as they are. Only criticism i have is, the parking availability for the pool is non existent so if you are in the back of the trailer spots, be prepared for a bit of a walk to get to the pool. With little ones, it can be a bit much.

Vacationed here as a kid in the 70s and it is still great. Stayed in the Lakeview duplex cabin and it was very comfortable and super clean. It's not a 5 star hotel and keep in mind families with kids come here so some of the furniture looks well loved. For me its as close to camping as I intend to get while the spouse can fish for rainbow trout for dinner. Best of both worlds! An especially great place to bring kids and get families together. Absolutely the worst reservation system ever! I made reservations in July for 4 campsites, when I called to confirm I was told they were gone so I made new reservations in June and was told there were no cabins. When I arrived there were 6 cabins empty. Then they tried to charge me for July, they mysteriously found my reservation, but I had gone in June already. Then my daughter made two nights in July in a cabin but when she got there they only had 1 night available. 4 hour drive with 3 toddlers and all she got was that’s too bad. Apparently reservations aren’t what they used to be. Go to Blue lake, they know how to take and reserve cabin’s without controversy. And to top it off they still charged our credit cards for their mistakes, now I have to go thru the hassle of denying payment for

An amazing camp ground with great amenities. The lake is amazing for boating, fishing, swimming, paddle-boarding. Cabins for those that like a home away from home, or nice roomy RV/ tent sites with full hook ups. There is a burger shack with great food and treats... i.e. ice cream. A full store and gift shop. And a great pool for those that dont enjoy swimming in the lake. Putt- putt, and a water ballon fight area! There is also a boat launch and docks, and peddle boats for rent. Not to mention there is a golf course across the road. Sun lakes park resort has everything you and your family needs for an amazing get away together. We have having a group/ family trip there every year for many years now and it will be our go to spot for many years to come!
