Sun Fun Motel

No surprise what happens here look at the place..dark dingy smelly rooms smell like cigs, and smell like moisture in carpet.could be an awesome place with new management and a few bucks for upgrades.found needles and glass bowls all over alley surrounding the place. Be safe I don't know how they got any good reviews

We came for the evening and had originally booked another hotel. When we arrived at the beach, unbeknownst to us, our hotel room was canceled. Well, it was a GREAT thing! The original hotel was NOTHING like the picture. I quickly hopped on Air BNB and easily booked a room at the Sun Fun motel. We were able to check in within 30 mins of booking. When we arrived I was excited to see a quaint, retro/updated motel. The front desk staff was super helpful and welcoming. Our room was clean and fresh. If you’re looking for an affordable location close to the beach, restaurants, yet far enough away from the sketchy part of town, then this is your place. We will definitely be choosing this location again in the future. It’s wonderful that the beach still has places like this for couples or families

Location was amazing because the beach is literally a walk away. Service was amazing. We needed two pots to cook and they provided us brand new ones. The rooms were very clean as well and was graceful enough to let us check out a little late so I would definitely recommend staying a night or two here any time I’m at Myrtle Beach

This place would be a perfect little spot if under direct supervision. There are people living there with kids that they don’t watch let run around all hours of the day and night screaming, stomping, cussing and acting a fool. Very unpleasant place to stay and enjoy yourself. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Overall the room has everything that you need. Towels, and kitchen appliances. The bed is not too comfortable. The room was clean when we arrived but we stayed in the room close to the back of the hotel and was full of flies, so we have them in our room all the time, sometimes 10,20 flies and some cockroaches too, so this makes the trip a little annoying, especially because we stayed for 4 days. And is a really noisy place, the room above ours had people screaming and doing noises every night, during the dawn, lots of people doing ***** too.
