Summit Campground

This is a good campground Cheap Close to glacier Really well kept Running water at spigots Seeing the Continental divide and the CDT run through the campground is awesome The tables are made of granite or something Would definitely come back

The campground was very clean and well maintained and beautiful! The only thing that keeps it from being 5 stars is that it's very near the highway, and right across the highway is a train track, so with highway noise and train noise it tends to be a little loud.

Decent campground alternative when Glacier is full. It allows you to access the park from both sides. Primitive, no hook ups, pit toilets.

Love this USFS campground. Same host 5 years running. They keep it clean as well as the rest area.

Clean, inexpensive national forest campground. We had site 15, which was pretty close to the highway Like other reviews mentioned, you can hear the freight trains struggling up the hill to the summit. They were just on the other side of the road and they seem to go by about every hour. It's pretty loud, especially in a tent, but it didn't bother us too much because we were really tired after a day at Glacier National Park There were a lot of mosquitos at our site. Be sure to bring repellent
