Sullivan's Camp Cacapon

Wonderful experience! This is the perfect spot for a group of families looking to get away together. You can choose a cabin, glamping tent or bring your own tent. We rented the entire pavilion which was amazing as a gathering spot. Kids ran around and fished all day and adults got to relax by the fire. Such a cool spot, we’ll be back.

Wasn't quite sure what to expect when I booked at sullivans. We camp in an RV and the property is more geared toward tent and cabin style. We were pleasantly surprised!! The memories came flooding back as it reminded me of camping on the Truckee River when I was growing up! The property is very well maintained and the common areas and facilities are immaculate. Little bit of adventure for everyone in i nice little package! The owners and camp hosts were wonderful and an added bonus! We will for sure be back!

What a wonderful introduction to Cacapon WV! This was a new location for us and we are so happy to have found this amazing campground! For our group of 6 it was best to have 2 neighboring tent sites. We were very impressed with the scenery, the quality, the care that must’ve went into building this campground, the cleanliness, and the organization of the check in/out process. Everything was very well maintained and the bathrooms were spotless. The calm river was nice to hang out at and catch fish in. There was a really cool lookout spot and ice cream shop just a few minutes up the road. The stars took our breath away! Thank you! 🏕️💘🎣🌌🌻☮️🤎

Could not be happier with this camp site! For the price, you get a very well maintained camp, a hot shower, very clean and nice bathroom, WIFI access, a very nice river to swim or fish in and a super nice and accommodating host and owner. Mr. Sullivan himself came to greet us and tell stories about his time in the service and how be built the camp. I have camped in all variety of state, national and private camp camp ground and this was truly among the best when it came to how well maintained it was. If you are in the area looking for a place to stay, don't hesitate to stay here!

Gary and Tyson, the camp hosts, provided us with invaluable insights into the local area, enriching our experience.
