Sugarloaf Marina

It was tough for me to put down ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ only due to the water level being so low. Don't get me wrong it was still an amazing adventure. Since the water level is so low you are getting to see parts of history that have become severe feet under water. So of the things you get to see are an old train tunnel ( I didn't get a chance to see it) and there is another group of tunnels right under the train trussle.

5 star in my book. Not fancy but very friendly and helpful. They have gas, ice, drinks and a variety of snacks, foods, boating & swimming supplies. Been going here for years.

This is our second season at the cabins just above Sugarloaf resort. Unfortunately, last July my son hurt himself skiing early in the week and because the water was so low we were unable to get him up the steep incline to the car. So, I asked Ryan if he could shuttle him up the hill on his quad. He was more than happy to take care us. Love this Marina. Thanks again Ryan. See you in July 2021. Dave

Watch out for their gas pumps! The decimal is off and instead of 1 gallon of gas you are getting 10. When we told the employee about it he got defensive and accused us of not reading the pump right. We told him we only wanted 10 gallons but when the pump hit 2 gallons and our bill was over $119 we questioned it. The employee said people only look at the dollar amount not the gallons and it didn’t matter. He was rude and abusive and took down our boats license number and told us to never come back. No problem. His attitude was so bad we will never spend our money their again. Watch out.

What's with the 2020 Labor Day Sugarloaf shoreline fee shakedown?! Saturday, September 5th we were day camped along the currently abandoned high water Sugarloaf boat ramp, by Sugarloaf Cottages. There clearly was a pay station on the left turn to the low water boat ramp where Antlers is running their ops right now (port-potties, garbage collection, launch). We were not launching nor using any facilities so we parked along the shore below Sugarloaf Cottages and saw no messaging that it was a fee area. Then along comes Ryan from Sugarloaf Marina and his clipboard telling us the marina is collecting a $20 fee for us to park along the shore where there are NO services - NO port-a-potty, NO garbage collection, NO-launch.
