Suburban Studios Verona - Staunton North

Decent hotel overall, somewhere between good and very good (7.3/10). Stayed 1 night in April. Good size room, however no bigger than a standard hotel room. Good bed. Shower is a shower only with a shower curtain that can't contain the water. Also, there's no soap holder. The water pressure wasn't the weakest I've come across, you wouldn't call it strong by any stretch. Towels were very good, smelled nice too. TV was good, and the channel selection was decent. AC worked well. Staff were very good, efficient and friendly. Breakfast was good (for context, I'm satisfied with a bowl of cereal or some toast), and the breakfast area was a decent size. Parking was good. I would stay again, as for the price paid ($63 total) it was good value.

The location is about 10 miles from the Buc-ee’s Rockingham. It was a clean room with updates, comfortable bed and huge refrigerator. Service desk clerk was nice and accommodating. Breakfast was underwhelming but sufficient to get the day started. We would stay here again if in the area.

Nice motel just off freeway. Clean room Parked in front of first floor room. 😊 Staff very helpful getting difficult tv working. Breakfast good. No coffee pot in room though. Enjoyed Armstrong restaurant less than mile away.

Nice room, great shower. Was upgraded from queen to king bed. Convenient parking. Big frig, micro plus had little couch in a separate area. Night light. Felt safe, location good. Breakfast had a variety of choices. Weird that it had stove but pots, utensils etc. Glad I brought my own mug, none in room or drinking glasses for water. Hard to understand what gentleman at check in was saying.

Solid family run franchise. A husband and wife taking turns running the desk. The suburban studios entails adding some extended stay frills to a room. Think two burner stove and bigger fridge. The owners are friendly. Good location near a Mexican place and some fast food. The bed was not bad but some of the rooms are due to be refreshed. The breakfast features waffle bar but also included cereal, muffins, toast and the premade mini waffles. Definitely a step up from Motel 6 but not the Ritz.
