Suburban Studios Tallahassee near University

The setting is nice. Huge trees. Rolling hills. The rooms need gutting. The worst motel and bed I've ever slept in. Pillows hard as rock and they give you five of them. Just buy three good pillows for the same money. Filthy hallways and stairs. It's sketchy and scuzzy. I gave in to the price and the alleged 3.5 star rating.

The room was really dirty. I saw multiple roaches, both dead and alive. The door looked like it was kicked it and had gaps that allow sunlight in (and probably more roaches). Everything I touched felt dirty. No trashcan in the room whatsoever. I did not feel safe at all. If you can afford to stay somewhere else you should.

It’s an affordable stay but it doesn’t feel like the safest place to stay. I walked into my room and all the cabinets in the kitchen area were open and the stove was taken apart with parts on the counter and the night stand was turned around and not next to the bed. Strange but it was just me staying there and the a/c and tv worked so I was good.

The room smelled musty, the fridge was all rusty, the walkways and exterior are very dirty and in serious need of pressure washing, and other hotel guests hang around and smoke in the parking lot and on the stairs almost constantly. The wifi didn't work most of the time.
