Suburban Studios International Drive

The price I paid was more than what I was supposed to be charged online. The rooms look nothing like the pictures posted. The beds were comfy and the tv was nice, however only gave us 2 tiny towels. And was a half roll of toilet paper on the holder and one full unopened one. (Thankfully I brung my own). Had to cut my trip short due to finding bed bugs. I had a bad feeling when I found bites on my arm, and sure enough I was right. When we told the guy at the front desk he claimed he didn’t know what bed bugs were. I will never stay there again.

I have been a Gold Choice member for 15-20 years. We live in Florida and travel to the parks in Orlando a lot. This hotel was usually number 1 on my list. Unfortunately, that is no longer the case. I and my son stayed this past weekend and I woke up to bugs crawling on me in my bed. Then when I went into the bathroom and turned on the light, I saw the bugs scatter. When I told the woman at checkout about the bugs she seemed surprised like it was new information to her, but she didn’t offer any type of compensation. Upon looking at recent reviews, quite a few people had mentioned bugs and Exterminators, so why was she so surprised that I mentioned them??? I will be looking for a note hotel to stay at when visiting Orlando. I did call Choice hotels and file a report of the situation.

Priceline screwed up big time .. took over 2 hours to get my room .. but the front desk people, a family group, were attentive and polite. I stayed for a week, and didn't see them afterwards .. had no problems after i got in the room. My usual extended stay on I-drive quadrupled their prices for NYE, so that was out. Found this place online and wanted a kitchen similar, so gave it a shot. I didn't need housekeeping, so they didn't bother me with knocks every day .. perfect! But they took the time to say hello when they saw me. So kindness was all around with the employees. They picked out a second floor room, but I asked for a first floor. They have an elevator, but no "birdcage" cart, so I would've taken like 6 trips with all my stuff. The only one they had ready was near the

I've stayed at most of the cheap hotels on I Drive, and this one was by far the worst. I stayed here last Friday. I checked in at 3. The check-in process was fine. I went to my room for a shower and a nap. I got to my room and it smelled musty but whatever (it's a cheap hotel not the RItz). I took a shower and at best it was lukewarm. I should have alerted the desk then and there but I thought it's fine. I rested a little bit before I left to go back to the theme parks. I came back to my room (at 9:30), I went to take a lukewarm shower and only cold water came out. I had a great room on second floor. Nice rooms, comfortable and clean. Large fridge and microwave. Great location to theme parks. Very budget friendly. At night…Club across the way… music was way too loud till 2:15 am…it was hard to get to sleep. Other than that… great place to stay.
