Suburban Studios Fairborn - Dayton

The website pics looked so good, but it's not cleaned well. Walked in and saw the floor was mopped without it being vacuumed first...I can see the streak lines going the opposite direction of how the vinyl floor was layed. We had to quickly wipe the countertops before putting our stuff down. The hallway smells like cigarette and weed mixed together at night and in the morning...means hallway isn't properly vented. The AC unit was new, but they didn't change out the filters. So I ended up using the vent register filters to tape down so we get a bit fresher air. The towels were not washed but dried dirty. Positive: The hotel was very good in terms of price performance. The room was clean. But the corridor had very heavy food smells. After crossing the corridor, it was comforting to reach the room. Negative: the corridor had very heavy food smells. It's bad that there was no coffee machine n hair dryer. It was a bit ridiculous to request that housekeeping.it was also strange that they asked me to bring the old towels when I asked for extra towels.

Booked this hotel on Priceline as an express deal. The outside of the hotel looks run down but let me tell you, after I walked through the doors it was completely different. The lobby was clean and tidy. There are cameras that alert you as soon as you step in that you are being recorded. We ended up getting back really late and unloading. The owner approached to make sure we belonged in the hotel. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfy. There was an apartment sized refrigerator in the room. The water pressure wasn’t the worst. I have long, thick hair and was able to wash it just fine in the shower. The staff was amazing. It’s really a don’t judge a book by its cover type of situation. I will say tho if you’re looking for 4 or 5 stars don’t stay here, you’ll be disappointed. But if you’r

We interacted with staff only by phone or at check-in and out. Those interchanges were pleasant, friendly, and met our needs. Our room was clean with a very comfortable bed. Unfortunately, I booked an “accessible” room but didn’t get one. If I had realized before bedtime that there were no grab bars in the bathroom, I would have asked about another room. When my knee acts up, I really need assistive bars. Fortunately, just being on the first floor was enough for this stay. We were pleased that both the refrigerator and microwave worked. That is not always the case, despite the website description. The room could have used a second chair and more towels.

Staff was extremely friendly Room was very clean, everything worked, and even had a full sized refrigerator, and a kitchenette. An older building, but fairly well kept up, especially the room was quite nice. Could have had a better selection on the TV, but it was ok. The price was very, very reasonable. I would definitely stay there again, and I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice, clean, acceptable room in a fairly nice environment. To be honest, it's the first hotel I've stayed at that has had a kitchenette and full size fridge (plus microwave). I would definitely recommend if you're budget is tight.
