The staff were absolute gems, doing their best to apologize for the state of things. The entrance even fooled me with its sparkling, bright charm. But the moment I crossed the threshold toward the guest rooms...

I think the vermin ran away from this place. It still has the previous owners signage and you can see why they sold it. Ancient carpet, the place smells, our room was sketchy at best. If we were not desperate, we would have gone down for a refund and driven on. The floor in our room hadn't been swept, let alone cleaned in who knows how long. The STAFF was actually quite good. Helpful and apologetic. The entrance was quite nice, clean and bright. But past the doors to the rooms... watch out. They are in fact upgrading the A/C which didn't work in our room so there may be more upgrades in the offing.

I would rate zero if it was an option. The door to the room was jammed and after using the key you had to kick or punch the door to open. Staff walked by and said she would have maintanance check it. Then there was a front door to the outside the ifound was nit locked so anyone could and probably did come in. I told front desk about it and she said some of her housekeeping were "not very careful" but the real kicker was that the bed so strongly of urine that I believe the mattress must have been soaked in urine. When I returned from getting ice from the gas station my wife was visibly ill from being in the room for the 20 minutes I was gone. We determined that the rooms air was so toxic that we couldn't stay. When I went to complain all the staff etc were outside the front door smokin

This used to be a Travel Lodge. Still has the signs out front. It is an older building with quite a few "deferred-maintenance" issues. But, the sheets were clean, no sign of bugs or critters, and the staff were considerate. (That is very important to me.). I did learn that they are in the process of upgrading the rooms, so, it doesn't look like much but it's a safe place to sleep. BTW: The Shushi restaurant attached is way better than it looks!
