My wife and I rented this place on Airbnb. The listing stated it had a hot tub but it didn’t. The place filthy when we showed up. Dirty sheets, mud prints on the floor, hair in the bath tub… Clearly nobody had come to clean it after the last guests. It also smelled bad of gas. The owner, Marcia, came over after we told her it’s not clean. She said she would have it clean in an hour. The place definitely needed more than one hour to have it properly cleaned. So, my wife and I booked a hotel room instead. Marcia asked us to come back the next day and see if we wanted to stay the remainder of our trip in her cabin. Reluctantly, we agreed. The bed sheets were dirty, dirt on the floors, hair in the sink and bathtub, and it smelled bad of gas. I get it - mistakes happen. We tried to be understanding after talking to the owner, Marcia. She said she would have it clean in an hour. My wife and I booked a hotel room for one night instead. We agreed to come back the next day to see if it was clean enough to stay the remainder of our trip. It was. So we stayed the next two nights there. This is where things really turn south. Such a dirty place, cobwebs, dust, everywhere ( we took pictures) after Airbnb refunded our money we still tried to be nice to Marcia the owner, because we know this is her business but she wrote quite bad review for us on Air bnb, so right now, we don’t have anything to lose. Thanks Marcia. PLEASE BE AWARE AND DO NOT RENT HERE. Place is nasty, disgusting, bad maintenance, insects and cockroaches in the couch and trying to get into our food. Great cozy cabin feel. Nice and clean. Super friendly owner.
