Stonehaven Cottages on Tuscobia Lake, LLC

This was our second year staying here, specifically at the Gatekeeper cottage. The cottage is cozy, cute, very clean, has a nice kitchen and the trails are great for hiking. We saw lots of birds, a fox and even a beaver swimming in the lake! Lori & Ted are wonderful. We highly recommend a stay here.

Wonderful place. Clean,everything worked . Beautiful fall colors and the lake made it a great place to just sit and relax. This was a fishing week which was great. But I hope to bring my wife back next fall and stay a couple days on our way to that Michigan upper peninsula. The decor was awesome. Cabin was actually better than the pictures. Hosts were great.

If you want a place to unplug, rest and relax- Stonehaven Cottages is the place to be! We have been coming to this place for several years now and have never been disappointed. Each cottage is uniquely decorated, clean and supplied with everything you need to enjoy a quiet restful time away from the business of day to day life. We have enjoyed the scenic views from each of the cottages-whether it’s the birch trees from the Birchview cottages, the night sky from the skylight and upper deck from the Gatekeeper cottage or the panoramic windows of the Turtle cottage watching the sunrise light come over the lake through and trees! We spend a good amount of time canoeing on the lake and enjoy looking for the eagles, herons, beavers and trumpeter swans! We have canoed spring summer and fall -

Ted and Lori are the best. They went above and beyond to make sure Larissa and I had the best weekend and wedding possible. We rented all 4 Cottages a few weekends ago and had such an amazing time. The property is absolutely beautiful and they the Cottages are too. I can't express my gratitude enough for them going above and beyond to make sure everything went smooth. You 2 are amazing and thank you so much!!!

We were 1st there in July 2024 with family. The family enjoyed staying here so much that we came back in July 2025. Lori and Ted are very accommodating hosts. We have plenty of family in Barron County and we were able to have them over for a dinner. Any questions we had were answered promptly. We rented the whole Birchview Suite and had the daughters family in the upper and the rest of the family in the lower. Ted and Lori have furnished the cabins with plenty of amenities, from boats to grills and plenty of firewood. The cottages are wonderfully decorated and spaced apart so you feel you have your cabin area to yourself.
