Can’t say enough about the incredible experience we had. Beautiful property. Everything looked fresh and new. Hotel staff was THE best! Free breakfast was amazing. Gym was very nice. Pool and hot tub were perfect size. Only bad thing was that we weren’t staying there longer to enjoy the wonderful experience and service we received. Would 1000% stay here again and recommend to anyone looking to stay in Rice Lake!

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Rice Lake and had such a wonderful experience that I felt compelled to share. From the moment I walked through the doors, I was greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality that set the tone for my entire visit. The staff here truly goes above and beyond. Everyone I encountered was friendly, professional, and genuinely seemed to care about making my stay comfortable. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and the front desk team was incredibly helpful with local recommendations. The room was spotlessly clean and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding that gave me some of the best sleep I’ve had at a hotel. We stay here when visiting our son’s family. We love this warm, bright, welcoming property. The rooms are always fresh and clean and well lit. The beds are wonderful. The rooms are designed with all the conveniences a traveler needs from well placed coat hooks to exceptional lighting to comfy beds and a Kuerig coffee maker. That means REAL coffee instead of the awful stuff in other hotels. The bathroom is spacious, clean and bright. The Dove products are convenient and pleasant. There is nothing to complain about here!!! It’s a great property!

Came from down south. Booked the room, the gentleman helping me book the room very nice. About 30 mins to Rice lake, I called the hotel and explained we had a long drive with our littles. Asked if there was an available room ready for an early check in. Laurel was very accommodating pleasant and ensured our room was ready and helpful with quick efficient directions. Check In with Laurel was nice and pleasant quick. Our room key wasn’t magnetized properly, but house keeping let it, was nice as I was carrying all our bags and would have hated going back down with three littles and all of our bags. The room was nice; bed was a bit softer than I liked but the kids had no complaints. The pool and hot tub was great. My kids enjoyed the hot breakfast and I enjoyed the fresh ground coffee!!! In la

*Edit - We talked to corporate and the manager of this Holiday inn. The manager was great and she explained that they have had trouble with other hockey teams, who broke their elevator the last weekend. I still dont want to be judged by others actions but I understand. We all agreed there's a better way to handle things like how we were checked in and hopefully the guy at the front desk was checked. I would like to say we had a great rest of our time that weekend. There was an incident with very drunk hockey parents from another team and I want to tell them, WE CAN DO BETTER. Hockey families aren't the only people staying there. Don't ruin hotels for the rest of us! Watch and discipline your team. Thank you Holiday Inn, we are loyal members and plan to stay that way.
