Stillwater Mountain Lodge by Stay Montana

The cabin was amazing but the hottub wasn't clean and didn't work correctly. There is a lack of out door lighting and the rooms are quite cold at night. Despite that we still had a nice time and I would come again but maybe ask for an extra space heater or two.

Love this place - access to the ski trails and fantastic hosts made for a great weekend away. We stayed in the Nordic House with our friends and you kids. It was a perfect set up and the lodge had everything we needed. Cozy yet not over done so you weren't walking on egg shells with the young kids. Easy access to the xc trails and lots of outdoor space for the kids to play. Tom was an excellent host and Kirsten seemed great although we only spoke over the phone.

This is a ski-in/ski-out facility that requires no driving to, or from the trails. Definitely a plus, as we parked our vehicles for three days and enjoyed our time x-country skiing, walking and if desired: snowshoeing. The varied wide trails were well-groomed with excellent intermediate terrain. Signage and clear maps were located on every junction.||||All amenities were as stated. The kitchen was well equipped and it was a pleasure to be able to share our meals at the large dining table and ‘happy hours’ in the well-appointed lounge area. The beds were comfortable and varied: from singles in the loft to ‘queens’ in bedrooms and pull-out sofas in other locations, accommodating most of our comfort levels. (We were 9 ladies.) The anti-room was large with plenty of seating and clothes

Most expensive cross country trails we have ever been to. If I wanted to go skiing on a snowmobile tracks, I'll go up a logging road. The attendant said he track set the course. The only tracks were propbably on the many trails that were closed. We are never going there again. We did not stay there, but the place looked nice.

My family of 10 recently had the pleasure of staying here and can’t say enough about this hidden gem! I wholeheartedly recommend it! A perfect true Montanan experience! We can’t wait to return!!!!!!!
