Good Medicine Lodge

We rented the lodge for our group of 18 people and everything was beyond our expectations. There were robes, slippers, mints, earplugs, sound machine, and make up wipes in our room. Everyday there were incredible fresh baked desserts, snacks (fruit, veggies, hummus, guacamole, olives, popcorn, chips, bars), drinks (wine, beer, soda, sparkling water, hot cocoa, coffee, tea), and the breakfast was out of this world (2 options for the main, sourdough, yogurt, coffee). The lodge had multiple cozy sitting areas, and the hot tub was amazing after a day of skiing! The S.N.O.W. Bus also picks you up right outside the lodge to bring you up to the mountain or down into town. My husband and I only got to stay for 1 night at Good Medicine Lodge and we were sad to have to leave! Our room (Beargrass) was clean and comfortable, and had many convenient amenities such as lovely shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We enjoyed the balcony with rocking chairs as well. The lodge itself had so many helpful details - complimentary snacks and drinks, hiking supplies (bear spray, hiking poles, sunscreen, maps for GNP, etc.), books and games, and more. We didn’t get a chance to use the outdoor fire pit and hot tub but they were available, and the common areas were very cozy. The breakfast was delicious and Shayla was an attentive and friendly innkeeper. Communication with the owner Derek was also easy, and he accommodated a change in dates for us with no issues. We had a fantastic experience at Good Medicine Lodge. Came up for the weekend to go skiing and meet up with some friends who live in the area. Breakfast every morning was such a treat and made us feel right at home. The snacks and drinks available helped fuel us through some long ski days. The room was quiet, clean, and cozy - perfect for relaxing after long days on the mountain. We will for sure make a trip back to Whitefish just to stay at Good Medicine Lodge again!

Good Medicine Lodge is special. It’s everything you expect a high rated bed and breakfast to be. It is beautiful and comfortable and homey and so clean!! The breakfasts have all been delicious! The afternoon snacks are such a sweet treat! The complimentary snacks and drinks offered are such an added bonus! They offer the use of bear spray at no charge. We enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace in the evenings to relax. Everything is thought out down to the slippers and fresh water in the room. However, the best part of all of it is the staff! Shayla, Megan, and Meghan have been so hospitable and kind - always making sure we had what we needed and offering great suggestions of places to go/see! If/when we get to come back to Whitefish, we will definitely stay here again!

Truly wonderful experience staying at Good Medicine Lodge! My husband, mom, and I spent 5 nights and are already thinking about when we can go back. It felt like we were staying with family, feeling cared for and having all the comforts of home at our fingertips. The staff was incredibly kind, going out of their way to ask how our day was and offer recommendations. Special shout out to Shayla who went above and beyond to help us feel comfortable.
