Nice little campground adjacent to the beach and some forest trails. Hiking trails were very easy to get to, and beach is a relatively short walk down a hill. It does require you cross a road at a bend, which isn’t ideal, but road isn’t super busy. Campground was clean and sites have power hookups, which is a nice amenity. Campfires were permitted in the provided rings, which is always nice to enjoy while relaxing. Relatively quiet overall, and RV’s and tent campers seemed to both be respectfully co-existing.

This is the exact kind of campground we were looking for. Super simple. Not a ton of people. Only 21 or 22 spaces. Family-friendly. Clean bathrooms. Clean coin operated hot showers. There are two loops of hikes through the forest. Both have some incline and might need a jump or a hop to get across some water. The walk to the cove takes you across highway one. This sounds scary. But it was not. Just look both ways. The cove is stunning. Not a swimming beach. A listening to the waves and looking at shells kind of beach. It was lovely. Camp host was really nice. Firewood available for purchase.

We love this little hidden gem of a campground. It's not too far from the bay area so that also makes it nice. There are only 23 camp spots. You can walk through the redwoods down and across the road to a little beach cove. You really feel like you can check out and just get away from the craziness of everyday life

Loved this campsite because of the trails around it. The loop trail went into the canyon surrounded by redwoods. The other trail went to the beach. Both were beautiful hikes. The fog and mist made the area feel fairy like. The actual campsite was very basic. We needed electrical hook up for the night so it was sufficient.

If you're looking for peace and quiet, do not stay at this campground. It's located next to Hwy 1, and the constant traffic noise made it nearly impossible to enjoy our stay. Semi-trucks roared by all day and night, and even inside our RV with the windows shut, we could still see and hear everything. Some of the site pads are shared so if you happen to be to the left you can't open your awning or you'll hit your neighbor. The campground itself was basic — small sites, minimal shade, and NO privacy. We were hoping for a relaxing weekend in nature but ended up feeling like we were parked in a rest stop.
