Madeira House

This was our first stay under the new Madeira House management. We have stayed at the Jenner Inn/Madeira House properties for over 25 years, and it continues to be one of our favorite get-aways. We stayed in the "Sunset Room" for one night. It was nicely upgraded, very comfortable with a king bed, and well appointed. The only thing we would add is a small table for coffee/beverages inside. It could even be a folding table and stored in the alcove in the bathroom. Just a suggestion. Our only lament are the price hikes. Our favorite room, which is now the "Maderia Suite" is now out of our price range, so for our preferred 3+ night stays, we may need to look elsewhere. But! If flying solo, I personally could make this work. I always need a room with a deck overlooking the Russian R

We had a lovely time here. This property is quiet, calm, and relaxing. We stayed in the Madeira suite which has a sofa, full-size kitchen, and a dining table. This spacious suite is partially updated with new furnishings, new fixtures, and paint. The kitchen is a little dated, but functional. There is no TV, which makes this a nice place to unwind and unplug. This unit has a fireplace and a private balcony with unobstructed gorgeous views of the Russian River. It also had views of Goat Rock beach and partial views of the Pacific Ocean. It is a serene place to watch the sunset. Room was clean and comfortable. There were some nice little touches such as yoga mats, a large picnic basket, and a nespresso machine. They had EO bath products and hand soap. The Wi-Fi was perfectly fine. Check-in

Treated ourselves to an after-Christmas staycation at the Madeira House in Jenner, staying in the Osprey Room, and it was absolutely wonderful. The Osprey Room itself is best described by one perfect word: cozy. The space is comfortable and thoughtfully designed. The bed was firm yet luxurious, and there was a lovely selection of amenities, including chocolates, chips, and nuts. The gas fireplace kept us warm all evening, and the heated bathroom floors were such a delightful surprise—pure comfort. The windows are incredibly soundproof, making the room feel like a peaceful cocoon. We kept the shades up to enjoy the stars and the moon as it set, and the deck view over the Russian River was stunning, especially at sunset. Beautiful all the way around. Our room was furnished with a super comfortable king size bed, the bathroom has a tub as well as a generous shower. Most of all, the view of the Russian River meeting the Pacific made the Madeira House experience totally magical.

We had a magical overnight at Madeira House. When we arrived, we asked if we could switch rooms to one with a water view and not only was our request accommodated, the amazing staff person helped us with our bags, set us up with a dog bed and bowls for our dog and made us feel so welcome — all while it was pouring rain outside! The bed was comfy. The bathroom was well appointed. And I cannot say enough for the views. Being right on the water felt so special. We could’ve stayed for much longer. Thank you Madeira House team for helping us to celebrate our baby on the way! Truly unforgettable experience.
