Staybridge Suites Stroudsburg (East) Poconos by IHG

I enjoyed my stay here! While reading some of the reviews i was a little discouraged about staying here, but I’ve learned that everyone will have their own experiences! I personally had an amazing stay here! The only part I was a little iffy about was when you check in they charge 100$ to ur card for during your stay, they state that after your stay is complete you will receive the money back. Idk that I didn’t like..? Otherwise everything else was perfect! The front desk staff were very nice! Our room was very clean, cozy! Up to date! I was so surprised and impressed how nice it was when I stepped in! They have a pool, it was very clean which I liked about that one! We had the opportunity to visit this location, and unfortunately, our first-time experience was extremely disappointing. I would not return to this hotel nor recommend it to anyone.||Customer service at the front desk was poor from the start. We checked in at 10:00 p.m., and by 10:20 p.m. we had to call the front desk because the toilet had not been properly cleaned. There were visible excrement stains left by the previous guest. We were told that someone would come to address the issue. After waiting, I called back at 10:45 p.m. for an update and was informed that Environmental Services was no longer on-site for the night.||When I asked who was on call to assist with the situation, the staff member stated that it was not her job and refused to help. The only solution offered was a scrub b

Overall I mostly enjoyed my stay. The King Suite was spacious and clean; the amenities were convenient. The kitchen had a sink, full fridge, microwave, and stovetop. The couch and bed were comfortable. The bathroom separated the toilet and tub from the bathroom sink, which I like. Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast, which was good. Customer service was great. There were two issues with my stay. The shower in my room was finnicky, so I couldn't get a full stream of water out of the shower head. The worst issue was the noise during the day, specifically 8 am - 5 pm on Saturday, due to renovation construction. That made me not want to stay at the hotel. If you are planning to be away from the hotel during the day, then it's not an issue.

I stayed there this last Wednesday March 4th and absolutely loved it. Thr Front desk attendant, Dee was very attentive and provided excellent service. My room was very clean and soo comfortable. Breakfast was great. I will stay there every time I visit E. Strasbourgh.

From outside the Hotel looked amazing! We were here for my birthday. We walked in the front and the Lady at the desk was super friendly. I was getting all excited for this weekend. We get up to our room and go to use the bathroom and the toilet wasn't flushed. Someone used it prior to us checking in. No big deal. We go to pull the cushions off to make the sofa bed and there was a used tissue and a ton of crumbs under the cushions. Im thinking at this point ok thats not terrible, easy miss. I go to get a shower and there is literally mildew all over the walls. Then on day of check out, elevator is broken so we have to walk down 3 flights of steps with all of our luggage. There were 3 of us. One is an 8 year old. Very disappointed and disgusted. Will not stay here again.
