Staybridge Suites Albuquerque - Airport, an IHG Hotel

I stayed at the Staybridge Suites Airport in Albuquerque in April 2024. I had an early flight to catch on the return trip from visiting relatives. It was a very quiet, clean hotel. Jan 31, 2025 I had to unexpectedly fly back for a cousins health issue. I didn't want to impose on my cousins since they had a lot to deal with. I remembered the Staybridge Suites from last year. I booked a room for 5 nights. This time around I was able to enjoy their breakfast. I was very impressed with the delicious food they had. Not only did they have the usual cereal, hard boiled egg, bread for toast, bagels, coffee, tea, hot water, but cooked food in hot plates. So many things were wrong with this visit. Grandson, staff did try to address each one. Nothing ultimately ever got fixed. I was going to delete the review because play at least acknowledge that I had a concern and fix it with what, I assume, the best they could do in the moment I decided to put the review back up because now I have to justify my hotel stay without a paper receipt because the gentleman at the desk when I was checking out couldn't be bothered print a receipt. He didn't want to talk to me. He kept telling me to check out for digital. He kept telling me that we throw the room cards away. So based on me just having to go through this situation again after leaving... here's the review returned.

The check in lady is sweet and great, the place makes you feel welcoming. We used to stay in ‘Hamxxx’ (opposite street), but find this place better. We lived on the 3/F and near the escalator, but the bad smell of the rubbish is very strong around the escalator area, feels like in a dumpster pit. Hope management can move the super full rubbish bin away to somewhere else.

We stayed in a two bedroom suite with our kids. The rooms were clean, and the kitchen super convenient. While we didn't sit down to have their breakfast (I just grabbed some hard boiled eggs), it looked better than what you normally see at other places. We're hoping to continue to stay at staybridge for our family trips!

Staying here tonight, after payment was taken and checked in, then we find out that the pool is closed. So darn frustrating, I have a 3 year old toddler that we brought here to swim. Never again. Other than that clean rooms
