Positive: The location was great Negative: This hotel could use a deep cleaning. The sheets were clean, but the room itself just felt dirty. The door in the bathroom and the main door was dirty and had mold on it. The room also smelled of mildew.

Do not stay here until it is completely renovated!! We had reservations at this hotel for 2 rooms during the Mardi Gras festivities this year, unfortunately, it turned out to be a disaster from day one. We were able to check in a little early once we arrived, when there was really no large presence of people that had shown up yet checking in. We checked in with Angela, who initially was pleasant, however, that soon changed. To begin, the hotel rooms smell stale, so we were trying to make the best of it, as we knew that most hotels were sold out for this occasion, so we sprayed Lysol, and we wiped down our rooms with Clorox wipes, intending to stay. Awful Hotel, room smelled of cat pee and Front Desk Sraff would not move us or comp us. Unruly Army guys howling at a howling dog at 2 am, banging on door. Asst Manager faulted me for not calling front desk who couldn’t manage a room|change but could handle 3 drunks? Room|Phone inoperable. No one manning cameras 24-7.

The rooms were just nasty and smelled like 15 basketball players lived there. Bathroom was nasty. Blood stains on the box spring. The chair was dirty. Tv worked when it wanted to. I had to buy spray to take the funky smell away. Looks like they never dusted. The microwave was old and dated. The refrigerator didn’t get cold. Management was no help

I would give 0 stars if I could. I have to say that I am very disappointed with our experience. Let me start by saying my husband is disappointed and I had requested a handicapped accessible room which I was told they do not. This booking was booked almost a month ago. We paid for an early check in for an extra $30, only to get here to find a ladder and tools in our room. The lady at the front desk help and moved us to a different room. We went out and enjoyed our day because we are on vacation for Mardi Gras and got back to our new room to find out our heat did not work. We called and the maintenance guy was about to repair the unit by REPLACING IT, resulting in us not getting to sleep until we after midnight.
