Starlite Yellowstone, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

This was a great stay! We were impressed from the moment we walked in. It's clearly been renovated with atmospheric decor and design. Aside from fun starry details everywhere, the rooms were well laid out with plenty of storage space, and they had hydra-massagers in the gym which was a nice touch! Location was perfect, too. I would definitely stay here again.

The Starlite Yellowstone is a nice remake of an older motel. My room was clean and quiet and spacious. The wifi reception was pretty good. The hotel staff were quite nice and helpful. There was a fire alarm right after check in (which does not figure into my rating...fire alarms are always a good thing if real.. this one was not). My one big issue in giving a 3 star rating, for the cost, I would have expected my room to have been fully made up on my second day...it was not... although towels were replaced and the trash emptied, the bed was unmade.. For near $400/night this was an unacceptable faux-pax for this hotel in my humble opinion. There is no included breakfast. Like many hotels near major attractions, many think they can charge premium prices without premium service.

Stayed here with my daughter on a hiking trip to various national parks and this was among our more pleasant experiences. New, clean, comparatively affordable and good service. All that alone would have warranted 5 stars but the amazing free food at dinner time took it over the top! We would return from a day of tromping around the park to find bowls of delicious grilled meats, potatoes and veggies waiting for us in the lobby. Can't tell you how welcome that was after trail food all day!

We booked 3 nights there with 4 of us staying there. I have been staying numerous hotels. This is the first time the hotel told us that there was no housekeeping in the room at all. Our room was at the other block away from the reception, we had to carry 4 set of towels to the reception to change the towel. The room was not cleaned at all from the first day we checked in till the day we checked out.

What a wonderful hotel! Jonah, the receptionist, welcomed us with her friendly personality! She was so helpful, suggesting places to have dinner. She is by far the best hotel receptionist I have ever encountered! The hotel was practically new. Very clean and beautifully decorated. We were pleasantly surprised! The hotel is located within walking distance to downtown, all the shops and restaurants. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Yellowstone or the surrounding area.
