1872 Inn

I can't believe it's been a year and I'm just now leaving a review but here it goes; we kinda just picked this hotel at random but we were so happy we did. The rooms were great, it's not on the main drag but close enough to be anywhere in town in 5 minutes and it's a straight shot to the west entrance to the park. The staff were friendly and helpful and when(not if) we go back this is where we'll be staying. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who is planning on visiting Yellowstone. You'll be happy, I promise.

First the good news , it’s near to Yellowstone and it has free parking and coffee : perfect for anyone who wants to stay a night and get going next day : unfortunately I spent two night ! When I arrived and for the first 11 hours there was a vibrating noise from I guess an air con , I reported it next day to a friendly person on the front desk and the noise miraculously stopped never to return , I asked to speak to the manager / owner to see if all was now good otherwise I was going to move out and try to get somewhere else : despite assurances someone would come back they never , when I got back to the hotel after a day of sightseeing I asked then the guy on the front desk who was a Rumanian who got extremely aggressive and kept shouting at me and at one time got out of his chair and mena

We loved our stay here! The bed was a delight after a long day in Yellowstone, the staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast (especially the to go sandwiches) was great, coffee was delicious, and the yorks at the front desk were a lovely something sweet. We also really appreciated its adult only policy. It was a lovely option for us not traveling with children. ||My only wish is that it was 5 min closer by walking to the main street but it was probably a quieter stay because of its location.

This place was exceptional -- a hidden gem. Service from the front desk was above and beyond, breakfast and coffee was delicious, the room was comfortable and the bathrooms were top notch. We definitely will stay here again whenever we are visiting Yellowstone!

If you’re not ready to get off of the grid near Yellowstone, stay here! Directv, A/C(cool and quiet). Staff is super helpful with restaurants.|Tip of the hat to Nikolai’s and Jasser. I agree with other reviews that the breakfast needs an upgrade. But, it’s just enough to get a head start on getting to visit the park.
