Starlight Motel

The landlord doesn't follow the contract and shows up unannounced with attitude. There's plumbing issues in each apartment, things don't get fixed but rent is expected. There is mould and mice. Giving them a 1 star is being generous.

Basic living amenities: TV with cable, shower, bed, fridge, microwave, heating and air conditioner. Good for an extended stay if you're desperate for a place to live, is within walking distance of downtown. Rent was $640 a month as of September 2016. The rooms are no great shakes--our shower quickly developed a lot of mold on the ceiling. The bed is tiny as hell and everything is kinda depressing looking. But a new person bought this motel and as of October 20, 2016 they are in the process of renovation. So there may be some hope for the place.

The new owner and manager are completely remodeling all of the rooms,as permitted by vacancy. I stay in a remodel room. It's very comfortable and quiet here and the manager's very helpful and available.

Not a good place to stay at. New owners and it's more like apartments than motel rooms. The manager likes to steal things too!

I wouldn't recommend it. Fights, weed, and other drugs run rampant here, you just hope your room doesn't get broken into
