Stanlunds Inn & Suites

For the price this is a good value. Nice location away from the main street of town. Plenty of parking, grounds are kept up. Excellent staff service, easy check in. The room is very clean, coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator, all working well. The reason why I didn't give a 5 star is, the furnishing (table, chairs, bed, and shower), are dated. Others have reviewed the same, so I was expecting that 50's smell. But that was not the case. Bottom line, I am planning on coming back again. If your one of those who want room service and fanned with palm leaves, this may not be your kind of place. But if you like the outdoors and want to enjoy a beer out by the pool to plan your next adventure this is the place.

Stayed 2 nights for new year celebrations in Borrego Springs. Easy check-in. Rooms are just as you would imagine circa 1962. Everything has been updated however! Very comfortable bed/sheets. Perfectly functioning bathroom with plenty of hot water. A/C and heater worked well. Equipped with microwave, big refrigerator. Coffee maker was lacking: Pro Tip - bring your own coffee and filters! Area was quiet and well-insulated. Didn't get to try the pool as it was 60 degrees and raining the whole time. Will definitely return, as we love Borrego!

We love Stanlunds! The rooms are spacious and reliably clean, the location is fantastic, and we have always felt safe. The staff is super friendly and someone is always on premises to assist should you need them. The perfect home base for exploring Anza Borrego--and having a pool is a great perk!

Great little place that is on the main highway but there is no road noise. Coffee machine and microwave and frig PLUS freezer. TV a little small but works great. Beds are comfortable. Owner very very nice!!! We didn't try the pool, but it is heated so I hear. Would stay here again

Amazing experience at this quaint inn! Gracious staff from beginning to end. Clean room. Little kitchenette was perfect for our taco dinner. Stunning views of the stars from our private patio. Highly recommend this lovely inn!
