St. Clement's Suites

We stayed at St Clements in room 702, an Airbnb room. When we arrived we threw our bags in the room and left for the beach. First day as we were leaving for dinner we realized the lock to the door was broken. After about an hour of back and forth messaging the host sent out a locksmith. The next morning my husband said he saw a cockroach. As that day progressed we saw 2 more near the patio window in broad daylight!!! That evening as he got up to use the restroom he saw 3 larger cockroaches in the sink. He told me in the morning because I fell asleep putting the kids to sleep lol. We then moved our personal bags to our rental car. We contacted our Airbnb host and an Airbnb representative that we had now seen multiple cockroaches. She assured us this was the first time hearing this and she s

St. Clements is such a beautiful little hidden treasure in Myrtle Beach. It is so close to everything you will want or need. There are many great restaurants in walking distance or a short drive away. My family and I LOVE to dine rooftop of the St. Clements Bar and Grill below; beautiful ocean breeze always as well as delicious burgers and drinks! All of the condos here have a very unique layout which gives a much wider span of glass so you do not get the typical shoe box effect. Beautiful views all day long and a pretty peaceful part of Myrtle Beach. Wide open layouts with kitchens. Each condo is unique and owned separately so they vary quite a bit. Spend your money elsewhere! My Husband, Grandson, and I spent 10 days at this place in room 405.We checked in on the 13th and out the 25th.We were paid up until the 27th but as I was making the bed in the living room I happened upon a bedbug which then had us packing immediately to leave. The room was horrible anyway and the second one we were put in. The first unit did not have water in the kitchen sink and the TV would not come one so we requested another room and it was 405.In 405,the curtains must have been at least 20 years old. The lining on the backside was all shredded like a dog had done it. It was off the rail on one side so there was a wide space with no curtain and they did not come together properly in the center. Love the interior corridors of this building - and secure lobby! Unit 305 has nice improvements - love the expansive views from balcony - but, even from inside! Walk in shower and huge king bed make for a comfortable stay. |Location is convenient to many restaurants and shops - some very walkable too! The beach is not crowded at this location. |Great option to eat or grab a drink at the poolside bar and grill!

We had a great time! The room was clean. The beach right there. Check in was great. The gentleman that waited on me was extremely patient and courteous. St. Clement’s is an older part of the resort. Not a bigger hotel than some of the surrounding buildings but I didn’t go just for the room or building nonetheless it was great. I would stay here again!
