SpringHill Suites New York LaGuardia Airport

Never been in there, walking past it daily and see plenty of garbage thrown on the sidewalk due to its residents. Not sure why they allow people to live there rent free and not have to worry about the trash they are leaving everywhere. It’s not a good idea to have this going on in the neighborhood.

Today noticed this hotel canceled our booking without any explanation or calling. Outrageous experience and first time from Marriott hotel chain experience and we are so shock is the understatement. We booked the hotel more than half year ago to be a key part of next month US open tennis travel experience. I am putting this hotel service level at 1 (rather 0 if this is an option). As the published phone number not working either no matter what time we called today. Escalated to Marriott customer service and cross finger to see whether they will fix the issue.

Stayed her a few years ago when we had flight issues. The hotel was new and very clean. Once again, like many other travelers, we had a flight cancellation and decided to stay here again. Had 2 rooms and they were not good! We were only going to be there for 5-6 hours, so did not try to change rooms. The beds at least seemed clean, but the carpets were disgusting - red stains everywhere! Good points - Check in was easy and the shuttle to the airport at 4:30 was on time. This property needs a good cleaning! No value for the price paid - Marriott should be ashamed.

Had a delay with our flight from Detroit, so we missed our flight home. There wasn't very many hotels with vacancies. We were so glad we found this hotel. They have free shuttle from and to the airport. So that saves money, no need for an Uber. The front desk clerk was very friendly. The lobby could use some updating, the room was really nice, clean and comfortable. During the day the street noise was loud, but at night when you have the air conditioner on, you don’t hear the noise. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The water closet is separate from the shower, which is very convenient, for 2 people trying to get dressed. There also was a living area divided by a desk with sliding glass for privacy. Our connecting flight was cancelled for the night, so our plans changed and 8 of us needed a place to stay. The hotel and shuttle driver were more than accommodating and understanding. They were very helpful and made our stay very pleasant as we were unprepared and without our luggage. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff went above and beyond when we left our iPod behind and mailed them to our home. The communication was great! Can not say enough about our experience. THANK YOU!!
