Louvre Hotel NYC

I had an extremely distressing experience at this hotel. Upon arrival, the staff were unprofessional, and the room looked nothing like the online photos—there were ceiling issues, taped-up fixtures, and an overall unsafe environment. As soon as I entered the room, I immediately realized it was unacceptable, so within two minutes I went back down with my bags and requested to cancel and refund my booking. Instead of assisting professionally, the manager became aggressive, raised his voice, and even made inappropriate and racist remarks. I felt so uncomfortable and unsafe that I had to contact the police. No refund or resolution was provided. This was one of the most unpleasant and unsafe hotel experiences I’ve ever encountered. I strongly advise future guests to be cautious before booking.

Positive: The Victorian-looking furnishings and room motif were unusual, but pleasant. I appreciated the effort put into making you feel like you were in Paris. Negative: We only spent 6 six hours there to get some sleep before catching a 6AM flight. However, I think the hotel lived up to its 3 star rating as the room was clean setting, as you walk to the elevator and rooms were reminiscent of European grandeur.

This is the worst hotel we have ever been! We were staying at the hotel on the weekend of November 4th to 6th, the price for a room is $186 per night, we paid $372 it's not cheap, the hotel is obliged to provide the best conditions for their guests! The shower does not work well, there is no ventilation in the bathroom, it smells of damp all the time. The old bed sagged, there is no soundproofing, the air conditioner is very noisy and does not allow you to sleep. There is no safe in the room. There is an ironing board in the room, but there is no iron anywhere, not even at the reception. Bed linen dirty with glass. In the morning I watched a cockroach run along the wall! Get the cockroaches out!|The only positive thing is that there are disposable slippers, that's all!

For the most part this hotel is amazing. Right when you walk in, you get to see so many beautiful things. That doesn't stop in the lobby. Each floor is also decorated, and even the room is decorated. Even beautiful natural stone floors in the rooms and bathrooms. Parking is limited, but I was lucky enough to get a spot. Street parking is harder. My biggest complaint would be the bed. It was a basic spring bed with very little cushioning. I could feel the springs. That was not the best sleep I've had. Not overly expensive. No breakfast but I'm not always thrilled with the basic free breakfast anyway.

The female at the desk during the daytime and the Indian or guyanese guy (I don't want to be wrong) , them two and the cleaning ladies are all cool .... been staying there for a long while now great customer service and interaction.. Now the Asian guy with the glasses.... worst person ever to place in a position dealing with customers and public.. DISRESPECTFUL , ill mannered , rude , power TRIPPING for real . .especially while dealing with a long term customer who pays everyday... Never any issues with anyone else , they are well spoken and speak with you clearly and without any attitudes. But that kid ???? Everything you shouldn't do he does.. Hanging up on people on the phone . Lying about availability for rooms meanwhile online reservations say otherwise. You call in or set up a
