SpringHill Suites by Marriott Woodbridge

I recently stayed at SpringHill Suites Woodbridge, and overall, the experience fell far below expectations. Check-in was chaotic due to a full system outage, and we received no advance notice or guidance. The only workaround offered was for the front desk clerk to manually open our room door each time we needed access, since no keys or digital alternatives were provided. There was also confusion about my elite welcome gift. The clerk who checked me in gave me incorrect information, which led to awkward interactions with other staff until I finally asked for clarification on what I was actually entitled to. The price for king, or two queen beds was the same. But the room size for the two beds was huge. The hotel looks fairly new, the air condition and the thermostat seemed very up-to-date. For some reason there is an enormous walk-in closet. However, the bathtub/shower is very small. Can’t figure out why they did that. Otherwise, everything in the room was perfect very spacious.||What I did not like was the route you have to take to get to this property and several surrounding hotels. It’s a kind of circuitous route to get on and off I-95. ||The breakfast was pretty average. Really nothing not to like except some slight road noise because the windows don’t seem to be very well insulated.

This hotel is good in general. It is clean and very spacious (we booked 2 beds). They offered free hot breakfast with decent selection and not difficult to find seating when we visited this hotel back in December. Upon arrival, we were assigned a room at the 2nd floor that could not be closed completely and locked from outside when leaving. We complaint and asked to move to the other room with no problem. Be careful to check your room door.

Positive: I like the location of this hotel. Their breakfast selection is delicious. The staff is friendly, helpful and courteous. The rooms are well kept and the housekeeping does a phenomenal job. Negative: The only inconvenience was an issue with the cable that resulted in streaming services not being accessible.

Zero or negative numbers should be an option, For some reason all the emails given to me which is on the business cards to notify management has been returned, rejected whatever the reason. I did get a response from the review platform.
