SpringHill Suites by Marriott Tallahassee North

For a single night returning home from the holidays it was adequate, especially since I was able to pay with points and it was a very reasonable amount. That said. The floor in the shower was slimey, there were random hairs in the shower and a big clump in the drain. There was a very loud, low, resonating rumble periodically in the room that did not seem related to our hvac system. The entrance is very hard to find at night. Not a lot they can do about that, but it is what it is. We will probably be back (this is our 3rd stay here) simply because the location is really good for our particular holiday trip. The staff were excellent. We checked in quite easily, and the breakfast was nice. If you happen to stay here, Lofty Pursuits, across the street, is an absolute treasure and I highly rec

Housekeeping protocols should be addressed. Rooms are not thoroughly cleaned. Bathroom floor looked like it had been mopped with juice. Did not feel confident room was properly cleaned. Glass partition at desk was dirty. Comforter had stains on it. Location is great with dining options close by. Free breakfast was adequate but I won’t be staying here again.

Don’t book this hotel if you value your privacy. The bathroom door is a sliding barn door style, with a lightly frosted full-length glass insert. No ability to lock the door, and you can see almost everything through the glass. Not ideal as a woman traveling with her son. The only positive is the front desk clerk allowed us to check out and refunded our stay

We stayed at this property while traveling through to Destin. Room was clean, updated and well appointed. We had a comfortable stay. Staff was friendly; breakfast was the standard Fairfield free breakfast. ||One issue we had was that the streaming capabilities on the TV platform would not work. We were directed to reset the TV, which we did, but we were still unable to use this amenity. We were told that unfortunately there was no one on duty that could fix it. ||The hotel representative offered hotel points since we were not able to use the amenity. They never followed through and no points were credited to our account.
