SpringHill Suites by Marriott Philadelphia Airport/Ridley Park

I recently stayed at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Philadelphia Airport/Ridley Park, and unfortunately my experience fell far below the standards I expect from the Marriott brand. While the front desk staff was friendly during check‑in, everything deteriorated after that point. Upon entering the room, we immediately noticed several unacceptable issues: the toilet paper roll had already been used, the body wash dispenser was completely empty (forcing us to shower with shampoo), and the original wall thermostat had been removed, leaving an open electrical cavity exposed — a clear safety hazard. I stayed here for a work trip for a few days, it was great. The staff is so helpful and friendly. The lady at the front desk, Freddie is the bomb. So sweet and fun to talk to. Very helpful finding places to go to. Such a delight |The bartender at night is Latifah, she rocks. Super chill and excellent at her job. She made my birthday a great time. I wish I could visit here more often just for the staff. 10/10 recommend, 5 stars

Perfect location. The room was neat, clean and extremely comfortable. We had not one complaint. We will definitely share with our family and friends how nice your accommodations and location was. We would not hesitate booking another staying the future.

First night was fine. We called down the following morning at 9:30 to extend our stay and we were told we were good. Went out to eat and do some shopping. When we returned at 1:30 our keys didn’t work. We go to the front desk and are told that they’re booked up and they can’t extend our stay. “Well who told us we were good?” “I’m not sure but I’ve been here all morning and I wouldn’t have advised that.” Cool bro. Either someone didn’t do their job, or they let random people answer the phone and approve guest stays that they don’t have available. Rooms are beat to hell, but it was generally clean. If we didn’t get booted, 3/5. Since we did, 1/5.

We had a great stay at Springhill Suites. We felt safe throughout our visit. Freddy picked us up from the airport. She was just about to get off work and went out of her way and stayed longer to accommodate us. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and made check-in (Thank You Daniel) and check-out was easy breezy. Overall, it was a positive experience I recommend this hotel.
