Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Philadelphia Airport Ridley

have to give a big up to the microtel at ridley park. i missed a flight on tuesday and had to sort a hotel for the night near to PHL , a place i am not familiar with. found a great rate on expedia and got an uber their (about $22) on arrival within 30 mins , room was allocated was like a mini suite with a half kitchen . the nice guy checking me in was great for info regarding the market across the car park for snacks etc, plus free coffee in the lobby 24 hrs. had a great nights sleep and they even provided a shuttle to the airport. top service, handy spot to know about if your ever in the area.

We had the chance to stop by this hotel for the night. We wanted to stay close to Philly but not really downtown. The area had a storm a few days prior to our arrival, so the parking lot and many of the roads were not accessible - not at fault of the hotel tho. The hotel itself isn't bad, a couple of odd guests in the lobby both PM and at Breakfast. The entrance was kind of busy and dirty because of the salt/ice. Front desk is okay, not welcoming but not rude. The rooms do need a better cleaning. Some scuffs and broken items as well. The place doesn't feel dirty in itself, but the bathroom needs a deeper cleaner every once in a while, and some of the furniture needs replacement. Repairs seem to have been done in the past but in a poorly manner. Breakfast is okay. DO NOT TRY THE SAUSAGE P

Positive: The beds were decent. Negative: It was not clean. The floor outside the elevator was sticky, carpets were old and dirty, and there were mold stains and deteriorated walls around the shower. The pillows were all oversized and very stiff.

The hotel is fine, but do not count on transportation being there for you. I’ve tried this hotel twice now. The first time the return shuttle was promised at a specific time (so I could comfortably make my flight) and when I arrived at the promised time the shuttle left 5 minutes earlier so it would be another half hour wait. During my second visit I was told the shuttle would be there in 10-15 minutes. After three phone calls the shuttle finally arrived after 45 mins. Do not listen to their shuttle promises. Update since my last review: The hotel staff has listened since my review and have done all they can to try and make transportation a more reliable experience. Thank you for making the changes.

Stayed there in mid February '26 as part of the park/stay/fly program. Lobby was somewhat dirty (stained couches, etc.) and elevator was not working properly. Rooms are small and not overly clean with extremely thin blankets on beds. We were promised a shuttle to and from the airport, but had issues both times. When leaving there was no shuttle driver so they needed to call next door to the neighboring hotel and request their shuttle. This caused a 20 minute delay. On our return, we were told that the shuttle had just left the airport but would return to pick us up as soon as he got back to the hotel (approx. 20 minutes) . After waiting at the airport for 35 minutes, I called back and was informed that the shuttle had not yet left and was showing "parked" next door. She attempted
